APC Constitution Promotes Equity, Guarantees Wider Participation – Mofoye.

By Henry Ubus.

The Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Saturday Mofoye has commended the inclusive provisions of the party’s constitution, describing it as a progressive framework that accommodates all segments of society, including persons living with disabilities.

Hon. Mofoye, a native of Orhuwhorun and respected political tactician, made this known during a recent interaction in Udu. He noted that the APC constitution stipulates a 27-member executive structure at both the local government and ward levels, deliberately designed to ensure broad representation and participation.

According to him, the inclusion of physically challenged persons in the party’s leadership structure underscores the APC’s commitment to equity, fairness, and social justice. He emphasized that such inclusivity strengthens internal democracy and fosters a sense of belonging among members across all strata.

The APC scribe further revealed that as a result of this inclusive arrangement each local government area will produce five delegates to participate in the party’s forthcoming national convention scheduled to hold in Abuja.

He expressed confidence that the convention would further consolidate the party’s unity and reposition it for greater electoral success, urging party faithful in Udu and beyond to remain committed to the ideals of the APC.

Hon. Mofoye reaffirmed his belief that the party’s constitution remains a model for other political organizations, particularly in promoting inclusiveness and grassroots participation in governance.
